I spend the majority of my time working with glass using a variety of kiln-forming techniques. Some of my favorites are ‘Freeze and Fuse’, in which I fire frozen glass powder to get pieces with a lot of texture and shapes, ‘Frit Stretching’ which uses the motion of flowing glass to create beautiful designs, and Drop Vessels, where glass is ‘dropped’ through a ring in the kiln to form vases, bowls, and other vessels.
